Poly Prep seeks applicants for the position of Middle School Mathematics Teacher for the 2024-2025 academic year. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Teaching: 

• Teach a total of four sections of middle school mathematics
• Work with students on an individual basis, as need be
• Keep an accurate and up-to-date online gradebook, effectively and supportively communicate with students and families, and provide thoughtful written and oral feedback on student progress consistently throughout the school year
• Work collaboratively with teaching teams to create innovative instructional materials that engage and challenge all students in mathematical thinking and discourse

Additional Responsibilities: 

• Serve as an advisor to a group of 7-10 students 
• Co-advise a club or activity and engage in supervision duties as necessary
• Demonstrate energetic commitment to professional development
• Attend and contribute to meetings during and after the school day, including but not limited to departmental, committee, divisional and grade-level meeting
• Attend community events throughout the school year

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or related disciplines; master’s degree preferred

Experience: Two years of related teaching experience in middle school mathematics

Requirement: All employees must be fully vaccinated and show proof of their full COVID 19 vaccination.

Salary Range: $71,563 - $98,915
