Upper School Mathematics Teacher
Poly Prep seeks applicants for the position of Upper School Mathematics Teacher for the 2025-2026 academic year. We seek an enthusiastic and committed teacher with deep content expertise, knowledge of and practice in constructivist teaching methods, varied assessment methods and tools, and student-centered, interdisciplinary pedagogy. Qualified applicants will have experience teaching the highest level mathematics courses, differentiating instruction for a wide range of learners, and incorporating state-of-the-art technology in the classroom. The ideal candidate will exhibit a passion for teaching mathematics; talent for working with diverse students, families, and colleagues; dedication to ongoing professional growth; and high levels of professionalism.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Teaching:
- Teach 4 sections of high-level upper school mathematics, including Advanced & Multivariable Calculus
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date online gradebook, effectively and supportively communicate with students and families in a timely manner, and provide written and oral feedback on student progress
- Maintain an up-to-date Google Classroom site, including transparent assessment guidelines and rubrics
- Work with students on an individual basis, as need be
Additional Responsibilities:
- Advise a math club or affinity group
- Demonstrate energetic commitment to professional development
- Attend and actively contribute to all-school, department, division, and team meetings
- Attend community events throughout the school year
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Master’s degree in mathematics or related disciplines
Experience: 2 years of related teaching experience in high-level upper school mathematics, including calculus
Salary Range: $73,563 - $98,915
